Folks —

Over long days in long weeks in long months, you have lifted up our values and fought for our future.

Nationally, the election results are still streaming in. There’s some we know and a lot we don’t.

Let’s start with our major wins in New Mexico. I’m thrilled that nearly all of the candidates I endorsed, supported, and campaigned with have won!

Congratulations!

Across the state, New Mexicans proved we know the value of early childhood education and care. We secured the sustainable funding our kids need with the passage of Constitutional Amendment #1 — thanks to the Vote YES for Kids movement.

And we won’t stop pulling for our friends whose races haven’t been called yet.

But here’s what we don’t need an election to tell us:

We are a country of people who love our country.

We are committed to giving our children the future they deserve. We want to be united, not divided. We want real solutions, not scare tactics.

And here’s what I can promise you:

I will keep investing in our people and our communities — in real solutions and in our future.

We already have all the potential we need in our classrooms, homes, and gathering places across New Mexico.

Together we can create a future that is as boundless as our skies, as majestic as our mesas, and as welcoming as our communities.

It’s the honor of my life to serve you and this beautiful place we call home.

Let’s keep fighting for New Mexico and this great country of ours!

Thank you for all you do,

Martin
