From the beginning, we knew this would be a long, hard fought campaign. It wasn’t easy - but getting to work in Harrisburg for the people of McCandless, Franklin Park, Ohio Township, Emsworth, Ben Avon, Ben Avon Heights, Kilbuck, and Hampton will be worth it.
I just wanted to share some numbers to show how history making our race was. Together we knocked on nearly 22,219 doors, made more than 10,599 calls, and sent 16,576 texts.
I’m thrilled to be one of the first South Asians to join the State House and the first physician in the State House since the 1960s.
The State House is on the frontlines of the fight to invest in our public services - schools, police, EMS, and fire, support our first responders who don’t have the resources they deserve, rejuvenate the infrastructure that our communities desperately need, tackle gun violence, protect reproductive health and liberties for all Pennsylvanians, and ensure a brighter future for our children. That’s the work I’m committed to doing - thank you for giving me the opportunity to do so.
Our effort continues. Can you donate just $50 or $25 dollars today to help us continue to build a strong future in Pennsylvania?
Thank you for your confidence and support, and onward to Harrisburg.
