The general election wasn’t easy - bigots in the state were furious that an LGBTQ person previously won the governorship and they attempted to tarnish Governor Kate Brown’s legacy and Tina’s campaign. Anti-equality forces spent their time attacking Tina for taking the COVID-19 pandemic seriously, her support for reproductive justice and more.
But Tina focused on her many credentials, emphasizing her track-record for equality, the right to choose and providing solutions to address homelessness and the housing crisis. And the voters saw through the attacks, standing with Tina!
