We’re all still sorting out the results from the election, but we wanted to share some initial thoughts on what we’re seeing.

But first, it’s important to note that VoteVets is immensely proud of the work we did this cycle. We played an absolutely critical role in a number of the House victories everyone is celebrating today:

Races like Abigail Spanberger, which was an enormous victory for us. Elissa Slotkin in Michigan, Chrissy Houlahan in Pennsylvania, Mikie Sherrill in New Jersey, Patty Murray in Wisconsin where we spent $600,000 late to shore her up.

And the list goes on. All totaled, VoteVets was one of the largest outside spending organizations of the entire cycle — and we were able to go into races and states most progressive organizations can’t.

None of that happens without you.

It just doesn’t.

Not only do we spend significant sums of money on these races, but we are unique in that we are one of the only outside organizations where the majority of donations come from individuals like you.

So thank you.

But now we’ll have a number of races to defend, races that are still out where we’re worried Republicans may cry fraud — especially in Arizona.
