Thank you to my entire staff and campaign team for your dedication and long hours.

Thank you to everyone on the frontlines of our campaign for organizing and getting voters to the polls and to every Virgin Islander stepping up time and again to fight for what is right.

My re-election comes with a renewed commitment to continue engaging in the political process and fighting until all Virgin Islanders are no longer treated as second-class citizens but as rightful Americans.

Finally, as this note goes out, results from across the country are still being tabulated. We have yet to determine which party will control Congress.

To frontline Democrats who are waiting to learn the results, I wish you the best of luck.

Regardless of the outcome, your commitment to our shared values and democracy will always stand out in the face of powerful headwinds. The American people owe you a debt of gratitude for your willingness to step into the arena, carrying the banner of our party.
