Polls are closed and ballots are now being counted in the race CA-41. While we wait for the results, I want to take a moment to say thank you. 

Whether you knocked on doors, made phone calls, talked to your friends and neighbors about our campaign, or contributed a donation -- you made this campaign possible and are why we are on the cusp of making history in this race.

While this is going to be a close race, I am encouraged by the early results – here at home and across the country. Voters are sending a clear message rebuking far-right extremism, and I remain hopeful that we will send that same message here in CA-41.

In the meantime, I’m committed to making sure that every vote is counted fairly and that all of our voices are heard. Regardless of what happens, I am incredibly proud of what we accomplished together.
