The WJP Rule of Law Index in the News

The 2022 World Justice Project (WJP) Rule of Law Index data was featured as The Economist’s Daily Chart ([link removed]) on October 26, examining the role that the EU has played in Russia’s neighbors improving their rule of law scores in the 2022 edition of the Index.

Our 2022 Rule of Law Index data was cited in a New York Times article ([link removed]) on European election observers and the potential for Republicans in the United States to deny the results of the U.S. midterm elections if they favor Democrats. WJP Executive Director Elizabeth Andersen is quoted giving context for the U.S.’s rankings in the Index.

An Associated Press article that ran in The Washington Post ([link removed]) on jailed protesters in Hong Kong mentions that Hong Kong’s ranking fell three places, going from 19 to 22 in the 2022 edition of the World Justice Project’s Rule of Law Index.

A CNN en Español video explainer ([link removed]) examines the new regional rankings in Latin America and the Caribbean in the 2022 WJP Rule of Law Index and notes that Venezuela ranks last in this year’s edition of the Index.
