Friends, 

I am so proud of the work we accomplished together on this campaign. I want to give you a sincere thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing in me. 

Since we announced our run for Congress in Minnesota’s 8th District earlier this spring, our team has traveled over 30,000 miles, meeting with Minnesotans and discussing the future of our country. We heard from so many people who are tired of lies and misinformation, fear mongering and hate, and instead want to see elected leaders address the real problems our families face. We ran a people-centered, solutions driven campaign that changed hearts and minds.

I wish Congressman Stauber luck in heading back to Congress, and invite Minnesotans in our district to stay in touch with him on the issues that matter to them.

I want to stress that although the results were not what we had hoped for, our work does not end tonight.

I won’t forget the trust and belief you placed in me as your candidate for Congress, and I still believe that our communities deserve better. 

I am going to take some time to rest up and be with my family, and I hope you do the same! I am so grateful for your support and trust, and invite you to stay engaged and active to help shape a bright future for Minnesota and our country.
