Hi —

WOW. What a night! Thanks to you and millions of voters, we elected Josh Shapiro as the next governor of Pennsylvania and scores of our endorsed candidates have come out on top!

This election represents a sweeping vindication – not just for the environment over powerful corporate interests but also for democracy itself. The voters spoke and sent a message loud and clear that they stand for champions who are going to crack down on polluters, protect our constitutional rights to clean air and water, work to repair generations of environmental injustices, and create the next generation of clean energy jobs right here in Pennsylvania.

I am so proud of what we did together to elect Josh Shapiro and dozens of pro-environment lawmakers. By any metric, we ran the BIGGEST and most impactful electoral program we've ever run - and likely the biggest environmental investment in the state!

Thanks to our donors, we spent more than $3 million dollars and endorsed a whopping 81 candidates.

We knocked on doors more than 267,000 times

We made more than 333,000 phone calls

We sent more than 150,000 text messages

Plus we sent hundreds of thousands of pieces and mail and ran digital ads that were viewed millions of times.

Pennsylvania voters also scored incredible victories at the federal level, electing John Fetterman to the open U.S. Senate seat, re-electing Reps. Matt Cartwright and Susan Wild, who both fought off tough challenges, and electing challenger Summer Lee, who has been an environmental champion in the state legislature and will become the first Black woman to serve in Pennsylvania’s congressional delegation.

Today we should celebrate these hard-fought victories. But I have to tell you, I cannot wait to keep this momentum going and get to work partnering with Governor-elect Shapiro and our new legislative allies to advance a progressive agenda that will expand clean energy, protect our open space and ensure that every Pennsylvanian has access to clean air and water.
