The results came in and it looks like Max Miller will be our next representative.

I hope Max takes this responsibility and uses it to unite not divide, put women’s rights and workers first, and bring manufacturing back to Ohio.

I am incredibly thankful for every one of you who cast their ballots for me. Your support means the world to me.

I’m proud of what we did together. We ran an underdog campaign based on the ideals of representation and serving this district. I will always treasure having the opportunity to speak with so many of you across our community about the issues that are impacting real Ohioans every day.

This is a tough moment, but no way is it a loss. Just look at what we did together. Together, we have shown throughout this race that ordinary Ohioans are worth fighting for. We showed that standing for our democracy is essential today. And we gave a voice to Americans who are tired of partisan politics and the status quo.

From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank you for all of your support during this race. You lifted me up and I will always be grateful.
