Hello friend of POV,
Warm wishes for a peaceful end to an exciting year—from American Documentary, the producer of your favorite nonfiction series: POV, POV Shorts and America ReFramed!
As a loyal POV viewer, your continued support means so much. Thank you for helping us to fulfill our mission of harnessing the power of storytelling to foster civic dialogue all over the country.
During this milestone year we won two duPont-Columbia Awards and David Osit's Mayor took home both an Emmy and a Peabody. Alongside celebrating POV’s 35th season, POV Shorts' soon-to-launch 5th season, and our sister series America Reframed’s 10th season, we have continued supporting mental health in the documentary landscape via DocuMentality, a field-facing, filmmaker-centered program that seeks to normalize conversations about well-being in the industry. We have also launched our 6th annual "Our America" initiative, which sparks discussion around divisive U.S. social issues.
With storytellers around the globe creating meaningful, community-centered films, it's critical that we ensure these life-changing stories don’t have any barriers to reaching audiences.
Whether you've been a fan for one year or three decades, we know you appreciate independent film, penetrating journalism, and the public arts.
Please consider making a gift to AmDoc ([link removed]) this year so that we can continue to support bringing independent voices and accessible stories – to public audiences across the country.
Make a Gift ([link removed])
Warmly,
Erika Dilday
