John — thank you.

Thank you for the support and commitment that you have given me, both during this campaign and throughout my public service.

Because of your efforts, I am proud to say that I have been re-elected to the United States Senate.

I want to thank Don Bolduc for a hard-fought campaign and for his service to our country. We have our differences, but we share a love of our country.

To the people of New Hampshire, thank you for the trust that you have once again placed in me. I promise you that I will keep working every day to serve you faithfully, to listen to you, and to work with you to address the challenges facing your families, our state, and our nation.

Here in New Hampshire, Granite Staters put aside partisanship and work together every day to solve problems. Six years ago, I promised you that I would follow your example in Washington, and that is what I have worked to do, day-in and day-out, as your Senator.

And by following that example, we have shown what is possible when we come together to find common ground and deliver results.

When Granite Staters told me their stories of receiving outrageous surprise medical bills, I got to work to take on the entire health care industry and end this practice.

Working across the aisle, I helped negotiate and pass the bipartisan infrastructure law that is rebuilding our roads and bridges and bringing high-speed internet to our communities.

But there is more to do to build an economy that works for everyone – to help families and small businesses with the costs that they face, to foster innovation, to invest in our workforce and to ensure that we make more things in America.

I have worked on commonsense ways to lower costs – taking on Big Pharma and Big Oil to lower energy and prescription drug costs and by bringing supply chains back to America.

Of course, in order to have an economy that works, we have to be safe.

The safety of our citizens and our nation is always government’s first responsibility. And I will keep working to support our brave men and women of law enforcement and to keep our country and communities safe.

And a strong and safe economy must also keep its promises, especially to seniors whose hard work sets the foundation for the next generation. New Hampshire’s seniors deserve the full benefits that they have earned. That’s why I will work to protect and strengthen Social Security and Medicare.

And a strong country and prosperous economy cannot relegate women to second-class citizenship, so I will always keep fighting to protect a woman’s fundamental freedom and to block any attempts to ban abortion nationwide.

There is so much more work that we need to do to help Granite Staters and all Americans thrive. I am deeply honored to have the opportunity to continue working to do so.

Thank you again to the people of New Hampshire for the great trust that you have once again bestowed upon me. I will work every day to honor it.

With every good wish,
Maggie Hassan
