Let me start by saying: thank you.

Our race has been called and it's official – I am honored to have the opportunity to represent the people of Rhode Island's 2nd District in Congress this January.

I can't thank you enough for your incredible support of this campaign. To everyone who volunteered, donated, or cast your vote to keep RI-02 blue: you're the reason we won this race.

Rhode Islanders sent a message loud and clear at the ballot box in favor of a pro-worker agenda, and against the extremism of Donald Trump and Kevin McCarthy. I look forward to fighting for every Rhode Islander in Congress, just as I've done as Treasurer.

I know our work is just beginning. We still have a long road ahead of us to protect Social Security and Medicare, defend abortion access, lower the cost of prescription drugs, transition to affordable clean energy, and more. I'm honored to have the opportunity to serve our district in Congress, and I'm ready to go to bat for the issues that matter most to us.
