Welcome to Mitch's last year in the Senate, team.

Because of this team, we’re starting this year off in the strongest possible position to defeat Mitch and reclaim this Senate seat for the people of Kentucky—nearly tied in the polls and firmly in the same ballpark when it comes to fundraising.

Now, don’t get me wrong—there’s a long way to go before November. There will be nasty attacks and awful things said by the other side about me. Mitch’s corporate special-interest friends will rush to his side. And super PACs will do what they do best (spend big donors’ money like there’s no tomorrow).

Things will get ugly. I know all that, team.

But I’ve never been one to back down from a tough fight. And with this team by my side, I’m starting 2020 with my head held high and my hopes higher than they’ve ever been.
