Folks,

We did it – we defended our battleground district. Kindness has won. Decency has won. Our values have won. Whether you knocked on doors, donated, made phone calls, wrote postcards, or encouraged your friends to get out there and vote, each and every one of you played a critical role in our victory.

Between an avalanche of right-wing super PAC spending and far-right leaders campaigning for my opponent, this race hasn’t been without its challenges. The generosity and dedication you’ve demonstrated every single day kept me going through the most difficult moments, and your enthusiasm made the little victories that much sweeter.

In the 118th Congress, I’ll fight tooth and nail to make sure we don’t give up an inch of ground on climate action, free and fair elections, affordable healthcare, Medicare and Social Security access, and an economy that works for everyone. This fight won’t be an easy one, but I hope you’ll stick by me in the months ahead.
