We did it.

The votes are in, and thanks to your support, I was just elected as the next Congressman for Ohio’s 1st Congressional District.

Thank you for believing in our vision, showing your support, and making your voice heard loud and clear.

We sent a message tonight that folks here are done with the chaos and extremism. That we are demanding an economy that works for everyone, and we’re not standing for attacks on our democracy. That we will not let folks like Chabot take us backward any longer.

We won this race, but the fight for our future doesn’t end tonight.

That’s why we won’t give up the fight to protect our democracy.

It’s why we won’t give up the fight to protect our fundamental freedoms.

And it’s why we won’t give up the fight to build an economy that actually works for working people and not just for the rich and powerful.

This is the right fight. And it will remain the right fight. I wouldn’t want to be in this fight with anybody else.
