John – we just got the news: everyone’s favorite weatherman turned Congressional candidate, Eric Sorensen, just WON his race for House District 17! He’s officially the first out LGBTQ person elected to the U.S. Congress from Illinois. Congratulate Eric on this huge win here! [[link removed]]
🌞 TELL ERIC CONGRATS! 🌞 [[link removed]]
This was a tough race and remained close right up until polls closed. But Eric stuck to his message and toured the state, meeting voters and boldly claiming he is THE pro-equality voice for the district. And his hard work paid off with a big win!
Eric is going to do amazing things in the U.S. Congress and fight to ensure pro-choice, pro-LGBTQ laws pass. Let Eric know you’re happy he’s headed to D.C. here! [[link removed]]
