2022 Midterm Elections Recap

Friend,

Tonight, we witnessed the strength and resilience of Republican leaders and
candidates at all levels of government. With a lot of races in flux, here
are a number of notable wins by GOPAC-endorsed candidates:

Senator Marco Rubio (FL)

Representative Andrew Garbarino (NY-2)

Representative Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11)

Representative Claudia Tenney (NY-24)

Representative Stephanie Bice (OK-5)

Representative Nancy Mace (SC-1)

Representative Andy Harris (MD-1)

Representative Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-1)

Representative John Moolenaar (MI-2)

Representative Mark Green (TN-7)

State Senator Erin Houchin (IN-9)

State Senator Jen Kiggans (VA-2)

In the states:

In Florida, Republicans had a very historic night as Governor Ron DeSantis
handily won his reelection bid against U.S. Representative Charlie Crist,
while Senator Marco Rubio was victorious over U.S. Representative Val
Demings. Attorney General Ashley Moody was reelected to her post, Senator
Wilton Simpson won his bid for Florida Commissioner of Agriculture, and
Representative Jimmy Patronis was reelected to serve as the state's Chief
Financial Officer, all the while Republican candidates picked up U.S. House
seats across Tampa Bay and dominated local races for the state legislature.

In North Carolina, Senate Republicans gained a supermajority in the General
Assembly. Additionally, Republicans now hold a 5-2 majority in the state's
Supreme Court.

In Kentucky, Republicans will enter 2023 with 31 seats to Democrats 6 (with
one vacancy to be filled in a special election in early 2023).

Thanks to your support of GOPAC's mission and programs, Republicans are
poised to continue their work of pro-economic policies and to hold a
dominant advantage in state government control throughout the country.

All the best,

Jessica Curtis
