Levy gave the following remarks: Thank you for the tremendous support you have shown us over the course of this campaign. It has been one of the great honors of my life to meet so many of you, to hear your stories, to share in your struggles. I will not stop fighting for you, for our state, our freedom, and for our great country. I feel the weight and the responsibility of the hopes and dreams of so many here in Connecticut who yearn for change. However, while this campaign has come to an end, we will continue to work for a more free, more prosperous, and safer America, and to preserve the American dream for future generations. A few minutes ago, I called Senator Blumenthal to congratulate him on tonight’s victory. While we have very different visions for America, as well as different opinions on policy, I wish him well in the next six years. Most importantly, I would like to thank the voters of Connecticut who put their faith in me. Thank you to my family who supported me and stood with me every step of this campaign.
