Michael Bennet

Hi folks,

Colorado has spoken, and I am thrilled to continue serving as your United States Senator.

This election posed a question: Will we keep building on the progress we’ve made, or will we go backwards? Tonight, Colorado said we are not going back.

We are not going back to the days when politicians could stand between a woman and her doctor.

We are not going back to the chaos and division of Donald Trump and his allies.

We are moving forward from the failed trickle-down economic policies of the past forty years, which have left Coloradans working harder for less, while the rich and the powerful get farther ahead.

In Colorado, we stand ready to protect the right to choose nationwide, rebuild the middle class, bring manufacturing jobs back to America, and create an economy that truly works for everyone.

That is what Coloradans have demanded in this election, and whether you voted for me or not, I will fight for your family the same way I fight for my own. I will work to hand the next generation not only a stronger economy — but a stronger democracy and a stronger America.

Thank you for standing with me. Whether you volunteered, donated, spread the word, or simply voted yourself, I could not have won this election without you.

I look forward to continuing to fight alongside you for a better Colorado.

Thank you,

Michael
