Happy New Year! 

I hope you have been able to reflect on the past year. Looking back at 2019, I am proud of my record growing the economy, securing the border, and reducing healthcare costs. Check out President Trump’s 2019 record and our policy initiatives at the bottom of this email.

President Trump and his Republican allies have made much progress in moving America forward - but much work still remains. In 2020, I will continue to fight for our North Carolina values in Washington.

President Trump's 2019 Record

Democrats wasted months in 2019 on their favorite obsession - impeaching President Trump. Instead, President Trump was busy delivering for the American people.

Immigration

In 2019, House Democrats voted multiple times to deny funds for a border wall. In July, I introduced the Justice for Sanctuary Cities Victim Act to allow victims harmed by illegal immigrants in a sanctuary city to sue that city or state.

Abortion

In February, I became a proud co-sponsor of the Born Alive bill that ensures babies who survive an attempted abortion receive the same level of care as any other newborn. This year, Democrats across the country opened up a new front of their assault on life - infanticide.

Healthcare

In September, I introduced the FLEX Act, a bill that expands the choices of low-cost healthcare options for individuals and small businesses. Meanwhile, House Democrats voted against giving states waivers from Obamacare. 

Taxes

My tax record in 2019 focused on expanding the ways North Carolina families can provide for their families. Instead, Democrat presidential candidates made it clear that their socialist agenda of Medicare for All, free college, and the Green New Deal will result in trillions in new taxes on hardworking American families.
