Team, we did it!

I have officially been reelected as your Representative from the First State in Congress. Tonight, because of all your hard work and dedication, we’ve kept Delaware blue.

Thank you doesn't even begin to describe just how thankful I am for all of your support. I take so much pride in the ability to serve each and every one of you, and I am so grateful that all of you have been there for me each and every second of this race. Through the ups and downs of this year, your support has never wavered, and it’s given me the motivation to keep striving for excellence.

Whether you read our emails, donated, or volunteered, each of you has contributed something invaluable to this campaign, and I promise that as your Congresswoman, I will never ever take that for granted.

As we await the results of tonight’s other important races, I want you to know that no matter the outcome, there’s not a single obstacle that will stand in the way of my commitment to you.

I’ve said it before, and tonight, I’ll say it again: When Lisa goes to Washington, we all go to Washington.
