FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CONTACT: Jessica Proud | [email protected] Statement from NYGOP Chairman Nick Langworthy Concerning Legal Action Involving Washington County Ballots November 8, 2022 "Today the New York Republican Party successfully sued in court and won in order to preserve election integrity in Washington County after emergency ballots were transported by the Democrat elections commissioner. The law is clear: emergency ballots that are unable to be scanned must remain locked, on-site, and under the supervision of observers of both parties. The court granted a stay and the ballots in question are now separated from the rest of the county’s ballots and will be counted tonight. The ballots will be able to be audited if needed. "We encourage all voters who have not cast a ballot to get out and vote, as their vote will be counted. We want to thank the voters and poll watchers who called in these election irregularities to ensure legal votes are counted." ### New York Republican State Committee | 315 State Street, Albany, NY 12210 Unsubscribe [email protected] Update Profile | Constant Contact Data Notice Sent by [email protected] powered by Try email marketing for free today!
