John, While the first results from the midterm elections are trickling in, the reality is that we may not have the full picture for a few days – or even a few weeks. So here’s something you can do while you’re waiting: Donate to keep the NDRC’s work to defend democracy going. Why am I asking on the evening of Election Day? Because the work doesn’t stop today. You could even say it begins anew. As A.G. Holder wrote, “If MAGA Republicans have shown us anything, it’s that they’re committed to dismantling our democracy until only one party – theirs – can win elections.” After today, the GOP will consolidate their wins and push even harder for permanent minority rule. It’ll be our duty to keep pushing back. Over the next few days, we’ll share more about how we plan to do that. I know we left it all on the field today. But this will certainly be a multi-year effort – and I hope the NDRC can continue to count on your support.
