In these dark times for our nation, it often seems too late for us to change course. That the American Experiment is doomed to fail.
I don’t believe this is the case. I believe America's brightest days still lie in our future. I believe that if we come together with our voices and our votes, we can steer the moral arc of this nation toward justice.
That is why I am running for the Senate: to do my part in moving this country toward a future where anyone can lead a dignified life, regardless of race, class, gender, sexual orientation, sex, religion, or country of origin.
