Hi friend, it's David Hogg, and I wanted to give you a quick update on our fight to defeat gun-lobby puppet Marco Rubio. 

Thanks to your dedication to creating a future free of gun violence, we've already raised more than $800,000 for Val Demings' campaign! But we still have a long way to go if we're going to match the $3.3 MILLION Marco Rubio has taken from the gun lobby. 

I threw my full support behind Val Demings this year because I know that she'll be the agent for change that we need. She has a proven track record of advocating for commonsense gun violence prevention programs, and I know she will not turn her back on the survivors of gun violence – unlike Marco Rubio.

Friend, even after my high school in Parkland, Florida suffered from a horrific mass shooting, Marco Rubio continued to do the gun lobby's bidding – opposing commonsense gun violence prevention legislation, like the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act. Rubio does not care about Floridians, but Val Demings does.

And thanks to you, Demings has a real chance at winning this race. A recent poll has her tied with Marco Rubio – but time is running out for her to take the lead.

We need to raise a LOT more for Val Demings in the next few hours, so I have to ask: Will you chip in $5 or more to Congresswoman Val Demings' campaign now so she can retire Marco Rubio and continue her fight for progress in the Senate?
