Dear Friend, As people of faith, we stand firmly in the belief that our right to vote is sacred. Our vote is the tool we use to put our faith into action, to see that our values are upheld, and to hold our leaders accountable to doing justice.
For months, all of us at Rise + Vote have worked around the clock to register voters, hold conversations with people of faith about what’s at stake this election, and mobilize voters to get out to vote early or mail in their ballots.
Today is the last day of that effort. Today is our last chance to cast our votes in an election that will determine the future of racial justice, immigrant justice, voting rights, the filibuster, gun safety, and so much more. It’s not an exaggeration to say that democracy itself is on the ballot, and what happens today will set a course for the future of this country.
