Help Expand Our Global Partners Program!
[[link removed]]
We're proud to announce an exciting campaign to expand Population Connection's newest program. Since 2016, we’ve partnered with small nonprofits worldwide to enhance their ability at the local level to expand access to family planning options and reproductive health care, to remove barriers to girls’ education, and to conserve local natural resources through an integrated “population, health, environment” (PHE) approach.
Now, we're expanding this incredible program with help from a matching gift offer. Your fellow generous supporter will match your donation—and all donations!—to support our Global Partners, up to $250,000, through December 31st! This special campaign will provide a transformative level of funding to ramp up our Global Partners program.

Global Population Will Reach 8 Billion
[[link removed]]
According to the latest UN projections, global population will reach 8 billion on November 15, 2022.
The rapid population growth we’ve seen over the past half-century—which is projected to continue over the coming decades—threatens the health of Earth’s fragile ecosystems and the hundreds of thousands of species who share this planet. We hosted a number of virtual events over the last several weeks that explored the challenges of living in a world of 8 billion. See recordings, and links to other resources, on our website below!

Explore PopEd's Fall Theme: Food and Agriculture
[[link removed]]
Throughout history, human population growth has prompted discussion about a very important question: How we will feed everyone on the planet? On November 15th, global population will reach 8 billion people. This important demographic milestone comes only 12 years after we reached 7 billion people in 2010.
In November and December, PopEd will dive into the complex issues surrounding food and agriculture. Through blogs, a teacher webinar, and free classroom resources, we will explore topics like the impacts of farming on the environment, soil health, changing diets, sustainable farming practices and more. All, of course, with the goal of helping K-12 educators teach these important issues in classrooms.
