Election Day is today and over 400,000 New Yorkers have already voted! The foundational changes necessary for our communities to thrive are long overdue — we’re ready for leaders who are just as committed to the livelihoods of immigrant New Yorkers and we will not settle for anything less.

Our community of fierce immigrant advocates know what’s at risk if we don’t exercise our right to vote: without elected officials who care deeply about our issues, immigrant rights will continue to sit on the backburner and we cannot allow that. We believe deeply in our coalition of advocates who are determined to see change, and the last six months welcoming asylum seekers to New York City have proved to us that this city and New Yorkers like you will always welcome immigrants with open arms. Now it’s up to us to ensure that we vote in elected officials who prioritize the creation of stable housing, income, healthcare, and education for every immigrant New Yorker no matter their status.
