We’ve accomplished so much this year because of people like you. We have saved the lives of hundreds of animals through rescue and placement, and countless more through education, advocacy, and public awareness campaigns.

In the video above, you’ll get a look at some of the rescues and accomplishments that made 2019 great—including the story of four calves rescued from dire neglect during a treacherous ice storm; five young animals bound for slaughter as part of a student project; and our very first water buffalo rescue, whom we later placed in a loving forever home.

You helped us share their stories, while taking action on issues that matter—like the banning of foie gras in New York City. And, you helped us spread our message to youth in schools across the country ... empowering the next generation to create a compassionate world for all.
