Held over two days on 26-27 October, more than 25 sessions took place, including inspiring keynotes, engaging panel discussions and insightful fireside chats that focused on pressing global challenges - from defending media freedom and digital rights to creating inclusive and sustainable economies. On day one of Trust Conference, we were joined by speakers including Christiane Amanpour CBE, Chief International Anchor at CNN; Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, Project Manager at the Thomson Reuters Foundation; Dmitry Muratov, Nobel Laureate and Editor-in-Chief of Novaya Gazeta; and Gabriela Ramos, Assistant Director-General for the Social and Human Sciences at UNESCO. Our expert speakers examined an array of topics - from the legal threats being levied against independent media to the risks and opportunities that technology poses to human rights and press freedoms.
