My fellow Americans,
Today marks the final moment of my campaign for US Congress in Colorado’s Sixth Congressional District.
This campaign could not have been possible without the hard work of so many men and women from the great state of Colorado. Any team in the world would envy the number of people who joined our effort, who took the initiative to make change, to see problems and fix them, to see hope and opportunity where others saw none. This is what, in my firm belief, made this campaign a success, no matter the outcome.
Thank you is not enough, and yet in the fashion of this campaign, which I have fondly started calling the “Duct Tape and Dreams” campaign, it just might have to do.
We all knew it was the right thing to do, to stand and be counted, to not listen to the critics, to become the “man in the arena.” We knew we had to start believing at some point that taking back our State and our Country was possible. I’m proud to be a part of that moment people started to believe it could be done.
