It’s Election Day, John, and millions of people across the country will exercise their hard won right to decide who will represent them. 

 

We do not have the privilege to assume that our hard-won rights will always be protected. We’ve seen women’s bodily autonomy stripped away in the blink of an eye.

 

And we’ve witnessed just how fragile our democracy is since MAGA extremists have taken over the Republican party. 

 

We have to fight to defend our democracy in every single election. That’s why I’m running for this U.S. Senate seat and why my campaign will be dialing voters until the polls close this evening.

Democracy must be constantly defended. I refuse to wake up tomorrow and wish I’d done more, and I imagine you feel the same. So I’m asking you one more time to pitch in.
