In every state, every county, and every city around America, today is
Election Day.

Our right to vote is the right upon which all others rest. Our vote
determines who represents us. Our vote determines what laws are passed.
Our vote determines what our country looks like. Not just for us, but for
our children, and our grandchildren. Our vote is sacred.

So it’s worth telling you what I stand for, as I ask for your vote.

I stand for you and working families, not the biggest corporations. I
stand for you and for universal healthcare, not big pharmaceutical
companies. I stand for you and our democracy, not those who seek to take
it away.

I stand for you and the future of our planet, not big polluters. I stand
for you and the safety of our kids, not guns. I stand for you and your
rights, not extremists trying to take them away. I stand for students and
teachers, not greed.

I stand for you and for those trying to afford a roof over their heads,
not tax cuts for big businesses. I stand for you and the most vulnerable,
not the richest amongst us. Simply put, I stand for you. And always will.

It’s worth asking what we’ve done:

We passed relief to help workers and working families get through a
once-in-a-generation pandemic. We passed the biggest infrastructure
investment in generations. We passed an Apollo-level investment in
fighting climate change. We passed major changes to lower the cost of
drugs. We passed a major expansion of healthcare for veterans.

Imagine two years ago if I had told you that we were going to accomplish
all that in two years. It’s hard to imagine. But here’s the thing, we’re
just getting started, and we must continue the progress. Not go backwards.

There’s so much work to do. And I can’t wait to get to it. From tackling
inflation to protecting your rights. From healthcare to housing. From
climate change to guns.

I hope I’ve earned your vote, and your trust. So please, go VOTE.
