Happy Election Day, team!

As of 7AM, polls are now open across Colorado in one of the most consequential midterm elections.

Our team is currently out across the district getting out the vote. We compiled a quick rundown for any questions you may have as you prepare to vote. Feel free to pass this along to any friends who may need help voting. Here’s what you need to know:

Do you need a ride to the polls? Lyft is offering 50% on all rides today using the promo code VOTE22 (up to $10).

For folks wanting to return their mail ballot, please drop it off in-person at either a drop-box or a drop-off location as soon as you can. Ballots must be in the hands of the county clerk by 7PM. There are sites located throughout your county. Find more information here:

If you did not receive your mail ballot, made a mistake, damaged, or lost your mail ballot, you should cast a vote in-person.

For in-person voting, you may return your ballot and vote in-person at a voter service and polling center. The deadline to vote in-person is 7PM. Find your voting location at [link removed] [[link removed]]

All in-person voters must provide identification. Acceptable identification includes your Colorado driver’s license or Colorado ID. More approved forms of ID can be found here. [[link removed]] The address on the ID must be in Colorado — but does not have to match your voter registration.

If you are still in line past 7PM to vote, stay in line. Voters who are in line at their polling location by 7PM are allowed to vote — no matter how long it takes for each person to cast their ballot.

Need any accommodations? Accessible voting machines are available in every polling location. Accessible voting machines provide the ability for voters with disabilities — including visual impairments — to vote privately and independently. For more information, see the Secretary of State’s FAQ page. [[link removed]]

Folks, thank you for taking a stake in our democracy. Every voice — and every vote — matters.
