Headshot of Chris

Folks,

I’m not a typical politician.

I started my career as a physicist, and that’ll always be a core piece of my identity. But I felt called to run for office to serve a greater purpose, because my work as a physicist taught me how to find smart solutions to tough problems. And that’s why we launched this campaign almost a year and a half ago — to bring people together and spread opportunity, not tear them apart and limit their unique potential.

Let me give you a quick physics lesson (I promise, I won’t bore you). There are two types of nuclear energy that harness the power of atoms: fission and fusion. Fission is when an unstable atom is split apart and energy is released. This energy is somewhat powerful, but it’s only released because atoms are divided.

Now, assume that every one of us is a unique atom and every politician is choosing how to harness our energy. My opponent Sarah Huckabee Sanders is running an experiment that divides atoms apart, creating an energy of fear and hatred that turns neighbors against neighbors. I know firsthand that Arkansans are sick and tired of the division — the fission — that Sarah Huckabee Sanders represents.

I’m here to tell you that there’s another type of energy that’s far more compelling. Nuclear fusion is the combining of atoms into one, which releases a more powerful energy than what we could achieve through fission. When I think about the movement we’re building here in Arkansas, that’s what we represent — the fusing of atoms together into an unstoppable force.

There’s hope for a better future where we bring people together — because this movement we’ve built is here to unite, not divide. So if you’re ready to help this team win tomorrow and unite all of Arkansas, will you please chip in $25 or anything you can right away?

The process of fusing together isn’t easy — it takes a lot of hard work. It means atoms, who have not always seen eye to eye, must join and work together towards a common goal. And unlike my opponent Sarah Huckabee Sanders, I will be a governor who fuses us together, despite our differences, and fights for a better future for all of us.

Since day one, I’ve met countless Arkansans who echo the same sentiment: they are tired of divisive politics. I’m conducting an experiment that will put power back to the people, where it truly belongs, and unite all of us so we can all thrive. Leading this historic campaign has been the honor of my life, and I intend on taking this movement all the way to victory tomorrow.

But if we’re going to deliver bold change, we need a surge of grassroots support. Every donation helps reach more Arkansas voters up until the moment the polls close tomorrow. Please chip in $25 or anything you can to help this campaign pull ahead.

Let’s win!

Chris Jones
