We are 24 hours away from the polls closing here in the Commonwealth . With that in mind, I'd like to give you my closing argument not only for my re-election, but also the case for protecting and expanding our Democratic majorities in Congress.
I'm sure you see the headlines every day about the insanity being touted by Republicans. They're calling for cuts to Social Security and Medicaid, reversing popular legislation like on insulin, and they're commited to rolling back the social progress this country has made by decades.
Democrats are not only safegaurding our government from this insanity, but we're passing legislation that has already improved the lives of millions nationwide. We have a vision for our country that we've been building towards during this past Congress, but the work that still needs to be done rests on protecting and expanding our House and Senate majorities.
It's time to codify basic rights overturned by a rouge Supreme Court into law, build an economy that works for everyone, and make sure American children can grow up in a country free of gun violence and environmental disasters.
