John, tomorrow’s the big day. In just 24 hours, polling locations across Maine will be closing.
This is the last time you’ll hear from me personally before Election Day, so I just wanted to round out this campaign with a personal note to this incredible grassroots team.
In 2018 and 2020, we showed the country that even in ultra-competitive districts like this one, and even in the face of staggering levels of dark money, our democracy still belongs to the people.
Now, we’re about to reaffirm that same truth. But I know that we didn’t get here without a lot of hard work – so from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Whether you’ve chipped in, volunteered, voted for me, or supported me from afar, it’s the grassroots support from the folks on this team that has powered us to this point. Now, let’s bring it home for the people of Maine’s Second District.
My team will be working hard until every last ballot is counted and the results are made official, so if you can chip in tonight to help us see this through to the very end, I’d be grateful for your support.
