John, it’s Katie. This weekend, my team and I (and our HobBUS) traveled across our great state on our campaign’s last Solutions Can’t Wait tour.

On Friday, we rallied students and supporters at Northern Arizona University – where I supported myself through college with scholarships and work study. On Saturday, we visited Arizona State University where I got my masters degree in social work.

And on Sunday, we stopped by Tempe to visit my childhood home and the exact Burger King where I had my very first job when I was 16 years old.

John — I’ve worked a lot of jobs in my life. My first job at this Burger King in Tempe. A waitress at Pizza Hut in Flagstaff. A social worker. A mom. An Uber driver. A state legislator. Secretary of State.

Whether it’s serving Whoppers or serving homeless youth in Phoenix, I’ve been serving other Arizonans since I was a kid and I haven’t stopped since.

Now I’m ready to serve you as Arizona’s next governor. And I’m ready to get to work.
