Mandela Barnes and I have a few things in common.  

Both of us grew up in blue collar households – me in Ohio, and he in Wisconsin.  

Both of our dads had factory jobs while we were growing up.  

Both of us know what it's like to be a Midwesterner in a blue-collar family.  

I am proud to support Mandela Barnes' campaign for U.S. Senate in Wisconsin. But Mandela is in a very close race right now and he needs your help.  

His path to victory against Ron Johnson was never going to be easy. Especially with the tens of millions of dollars that Republicans are spending against him.  

But I know that Mandela can pull off a win in Wisconsin, as long as all of us are standing with him between now and Election Day. That's why I'm asking:

The same can't be said of all politicians, and especially not Ron Johnson. This is a guy who doubled his personal wealth while in office and secured enormous tax breaks for his billionaire donors.  

Wisconsin deserves a Senator with the fire and the commitment to lead the fight for positive change in this country. Mandela is ready to be that Senator – but only with your support.
