Hi John – Edie Falco here. You might know me from my role as Carmela Soprano, but today I’m reaching out because I am hoping I can convince you to stand with me in helping Senator Maggie Hassan win her critical battleground race in New Hampshire.

As a citizen, I’ve always cared deeply about the path that this country is on. When I was just a kid, my parents modeled what political engagement looked like (and why it was so important). I spent plenty of time sitting in the back of my family’s station wagon, handing out pamphlets for candidates.

When I became a public figure, I realized that I could continue to make an impact on the issues that matter most to me – and I felt a duty to use my voice in the places it would make the biggest impact.

And right now, that place is New Hampshire.

Maggie Hassan is facing an uphill battle to protect this critical seat, which she won by just 1,017 votes in 2016. And she can’t do it alone,  John.

Maggie is a tireless advocate for policy that makes this country stronger, more inclusive, and accessible for all Americans. And especially with the Senate majority hinging on New Hampshire, we simply can’t afford to lose her voice in the Senate.

As if that wasn’t enough, the GOP’s pick to replace Maggie is nothing short of terrifying.

Don Bolduc is a far-right election denier who promised to overturn the 2024 election results if called upon to do so. And an anti-choice extremist who told women to “get over it” when asked about the threat of a nationwide abortion ban.

Just weeks ago, he said that “as a man,” he believes women’s most personal decisions about abortion “belong” to Republican “gentlemen” lawmakers. I could go on and on.

That’s why I’m calling on you to take action with me, John. As Republican extremists from Donald Trump to Steve Bannon line up to throw their weight behind Bolduc, Maggie needs our help to keep fighting back.
