Before polls open tomorrow, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to you and our entire movement.

Across the country this election season, J Street members have volunteered with campaigns. We’ve texted, called and knocked on doors. We’ve made sure people know the issues, the candidates, and where and how to vote. We’ve made sure people know what’s at stake -- for our country, for our democracy, and for the American Jewish community.

J Street Employees and Volunteers doign GOTV work across the country!

Together, JStreetPAC members have raised over $9.2 million to support over 170 pro-Israel, pro-peace, pro-democracy candidates. It’s a number that includes 20 Frontline House candidates, 18 Red to Blue challengers, the four most vulnerable pro-democracy Senators and all four top Senate challengers.

From Charlotte to Chicago, New York to Austin, Pittsburgh to Palm Springs, we’re helping elect and re-elect principled pro-Israel, pro-peace leaders from the heat of primary campaigns through to their victory parties on election night.

We’re showing that true leaders fight for democratic freedoms and values both at home and abroad. We’re showing that there is no contradiction -- none -- between ironclad support for Israel’s security as a democratic homeland for the Jewish people; and loud, clear and consistent support for human rights, Palestinian freedom and international law.

Tomorrow, whatever the outcome, we’ll know more about the fight ahead for the future of our country and our democracy. We will have time to process, to reflect and to prepare ourselves for the work to come.

As we know from last week’s experience in Israel, the stakes are high, and we must brace for any outcome.

But for now, I hope we can all take a moment to be proud of our movement and the work we have done to protect and advance freedom, democracy and equality in this vital moment.

We have carried the torch, and I’m so grateful to have you in our camp. Thank you, sincerely, for your support.
