Hey John,
Tomorrow is Election Day, so I wanted to take a moment and give you one final update before the big day.
But most importantly, I’m writing to say thank you.
We’ve accomplished so much over the past year, and this campaign would not have been possible without your support. Whether you contributed, volunteered, or even just told a friend or neighbor about our campaign – it adds up to a winning effort. I’m humbled to have you on this team.
I made the decision to run for Congress because I love this country, and I believe that we need a new generation of leaders who will put politics aside to protect our democracy and deliver for the American people.
Right now, we’re confronting a brand of political extremism that benefits from division and distrust in our institutions. If it’s not defeated, its adherents will rip away our rights piece by piece, and if we’re going to get our government working again, it starts by ousting guys like Ken Calvert.
This race has always been about holding the corrupt accountable and stopping extremism so we can get to work for you, the people. Only then can we move forward on the issues that matter -- improving health care access, growing the economy, and saving our environment from the climate crisis.
We’re in a strong position heading into Election Day, and there is no doubt that with you by our side, we can win. But I need to ask one last time before the polls open: Please pitch in any amount.
Will you make a contribution to help us through the home stretch? Any amount you can spare will help our field team turn out our supporters on the crucial final day of this toss-up race.
With gratitude,
Will
