Each year, many people miss out on their chance to do their part and vote because they don't have a plan before Election Day. If just a few thousand more people in just a few states had planned ahead to vote in 2016, Donald Trump might never have become president.
Today, we face a similar choice about the type of country we want to live in. Fortunately, making a plan to vote is easy. Just answer these four questions:
1. Where will you vote?
Your polling place may have changed since the last election or if you've moved. Be sure to look up your polling place now at IWillVote.com
2. When will you vote?
Will you vote this morning before work? Over lunch? After work or school? Deciding now will help you plan ahead.
3. How will you get to your polling place?
Will you drive to your polling place? Take a walk? Catch a ride from a friend? Or do you need to check a bus schedule?
4. Who will you bring with you?
Want to show your kids what voting looks like? Have a neighbor who needs a ride? Bringing someone with you to the polls can help make voting fun, but if you need to find a babysitter, now is the time to decide.
Tomorrow's election will decide whether we keep our Democratic majorities in the House and Senate and continue our progress. By making a plan now, you can ensure your official voting record shows that you made history by being a voter this year.
Don't miss your chance. Don't wait. Make your plan to vote today.
We're all counting on you,
Team Casey
