John, in just 12 hours, tens of thousands of Coastal Virginians will cast their ballots in this battleground race and decide the future of our district.

In these final days, I’ve thought a lot about this campaign. I’m lucky to have some of the most incredible staff and most generous supporters around, and that’s made this race the most rewarding one of my career yet.

I won’t lie though, this has been an uphill battle – we’ve been running a full throttle campaign in one of the most competitive and expensive House districts in the nation for more than a year.

Of course, we’ve worked hard to make sure folks know the stakes of this election. My opponent is a virulent anti-choice hardliner, an election denier, and a Trump loyalist.

She can’t even admit that the January 6th attack on our Capitol was wrong, and electing her will have serious repercussions for our constitutional rights and freedoms.
