National STEM Day: November 8
The 2021 American Community Survey estimated the total civilian population age 16+ employed in STEM occupations at 10.8M. Women are 26.7% of the total and earn 84.1% of men.
American Education Week: November 13-19
In the U.S., per student (public pre-K through 12th grade) spending was $13,494 in FY2020, a 2.33% increase from 2019, and enrollment was 48.0 million.

FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022: Nov. 20 ? Dec. 18
The 22nd World Cup - the first hosted in the Middle East - saw 206 countries compete for 32 slots. The 2023 Women?s World Cup is in Australia and New Zealand.

National Aviation History Month: November
The 2021 Manufacturers' Shipments, Inventories, & Orders (M3) Survey reported the seasonally adjusted value of shipments of U.S. total defense aircraft and parts at $63.9B and nondefense at $112.0B.

National Diabetes Month: November
The 2020 County Business Patterns program counted 8,330 kidney dialysis centers in the U.S. with 132,491 paid employees and a $7.4 billion annual payroll.

National Family Caregivers Month: November
The 2021 American Community Survey counted 777,894 personal care aides, 380,451 childcare workers, and 261,045 home health aides.
