This isn't good, John. I just met with my finance director, and he told me that we fell short of last night's goal by $12,314. We need to close this fundraising gap ASAP.

Now is the worst moment to fall short, John. Since the start of this election cycle, the GOP has spent over $10 MILLION to defeat me – and now, my GOP opponent is gaining momentum in a recent poll. If I don't close this fundraising gap, I'll get outspent in key areas of New Mexico right before the election.

I'm just 2 points ahead in a poll, and I'm in danger of falling behind on Election Day if I don't close this fundraising gap immediately.

Please, John, will you donate $5 right now to keep New Mexico blue?
