John, Texas is going to have some
of the closest races tomorrow up and down the ballot — including District
Attorney races.

Texas is a battleground for dozens of issues, especially reproductive
rights, fought on the local level. Who gets elected tomorrow will chart
out the path, leading other states in the process.



That’s why we need DAs like John Creuzot and Joe Gonzales to continue
leading two of the most populous and influential counties in the state.

This is our chance to get our bold, pro-civil rights DAs re-elected so
that they can continue fighting for real justice for our communities.

These elections are CRITICAL for advancing our movement and powering the
type of progressive, transformative justice that our communities and our
country needs.

As we have seen, lawmakers in Texas enact horrific, misogynist, racist,
and violent laws — from abortion bans to extreme sentences for minor
marijuana possession — but these DAs have stepped up and vowed to fight on
behalf of the people they represent.

Standing on the sidelines is not an option.

There are real lives at stake.

Now is the time for our collective voices to be heard, for to remain
silent is to allow the oppressors, our opponents, to win and roll back all
the amazing work that our DAs have put in to not only protect women, but
also end mass incarceration and hold police accountable.
