John, so much is at stake in this election.
The future of our democracy, our economic security, and fundamental rights like reproductive freedom will all be decided.
Over the last two years, I’ve been hard at work striving to put the South Sound on a path to a more safe, more just, and more secure future. I’ve delivered for us and I’m not slowing down now. I’m running to defend our democracy, create more jobs, bring costs down, address public safety, fight for veterans and military families, and deliver for the South Sound.
But extremists are set on reclaiming the House majority so they can take back what we’ve accomplished.
On January 6, 2021, violent, right-wing extremists staged a coup and came very close to stealing the 2020 election. They failed but we must stay vigilant.
The full extent of Donald Trump’s attempt to destroy our democracy should terrify us –
and election-deniers who promote the Big Lie are on the ballot for federal, state and local offices tomorrow.
So it’s no exaggeration to say that this election will determine the future of our democracy.
There are no guarantees in this election, so I have to ask:
Can I count on your vote?
If you haven’t already returned your ballot, you can find all the information you need by visiting

Thank you for defending our democracy by casting your vote.
