John,
Last week, my team let you know about a Super PAC backed by Republican mega-donor Richard Uihlein that poured $60,000 into digital ads, direct mail and door hangers attacking me.
This isn't the email I wanted to write, but Richard Uihlein's money is making an impact on our race. John, I'm fighting for our communities while the Uihleins fight for special interests. My campaign is a people-powered one – will you donate today to keep it that way? [[link removed]]

John, I decided to run because I was tired of seeing people who were supposed to take care of their residents sell out to mega-donors.
This billionaire is scared because I can't be bought.
This billionaire is scared because I put my community first. I'm looking out for you and your best interests. I'm running a campaign based on integrity, trust and coming together to improve our neighborhoods.
But we're being out-spent by the far-right, and it's going to take strong grassroots support to beat them.
John, I really need your help. With the election so soon, we have to rally together and finish strong. Do you think you could donate $25 to help my team and I finish as strong as possible? [[link removed]]
